Experience

Representing Saudi companies against the Municipality of Jeddah in administrative claims in relation to their decision to demolish bridges. The claims of the Municipality were made on the basis that the bridges were built on its land. The claims were successfully concluded in favor of the clients and the decisions to demolish the bridges were revoked by the Administrative Court.

Representing a Saudi company against the Municipality of Jeddah in relation to a development project in Jeddah with an area over (2,000,000) square meter land and a value exceeding (250,000,000) Saudi Riyals. The claim was finally settled in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi company in a joint venture dispute for (500,000,000) Saudi Riyals. The claim was successfully concluded in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi company in the contracting sector against a major foreign company in relation to commercial agency works claiming (172,000,000) Saudi Riyals. The claim was successfully concluded in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi company in a case filed against its manager and shareholder claiming (120,000,000) Saudi Riyals as shareholders’ profit. The claim was concluded in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi family in inheritance disputes for a claim brought by one of the heirs for mismanagement and compensation valued at SAR 20,000,000. The claim was concluded in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi company in multiple claims against investors in a real estate development in London for claims exceeding (100,000,000) Saudi Riyals. Some claims were concluded in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi businessman in a claim against an individual for (27,000,000) Saudi Riyals in relation to work completed for real estate planning and acquisition. The claim was successfully concluded in favor of the client.

Representing a Saudi businessman in relation to a real estate partnership claim for (180,000,000) Saudi Riyals. The claim was successfully concluded in favor of the client.

Representing one of the heirs in an inheritance claim in relation to the family company exceeding (100,000,000) Saudi Riyals. The claim was successfully concluded in favor of the client.

Representing multiple companies that operate in the sectors of beverages, medical and industrial gas, and cement, by filing pleadings and defending them in competition cases for fines brought against them ranging from (10,000,000) to (40,000,000) Saudi Riyals in addition to confiscation of the revenues derived from the violations. Some fines were revoked in favor of the clients.

Representing 11 Russian and Ukrainian companies against Saudi companies in shipping claims. We were able to establish a judicial precedent for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the area of “inherent vice of the goods” and “setting the acceptable percentage due to its effect during transit” in favor of the Russian and Ukrainian maritime companies.

Representing shipping agents in multiple claims in relation to the delay in receiving the goods and failure to notify the shipping agents of when the goods were received. We were able to obtain compensations in favor of the shipping agents.

Representing shipowners in environmental claims brought against them for the destruction of coral reefs in the Red Sea. We were able to conclude some of these claims in favor of the ships.
